We just want to know how she uses her phone!?

We all know the amount of effort it takes to keep our nails looking on fleek (countless salon trips, layers of polish and a nail file and cuticle oil always to hand). So, when we heard that 16-year-old German student Simone Christina hasn’t cut her nails in three years so many questions came to mind. How has has she been eating, typing, generally living her life!?
Simone says she didn’t actually intend on growing them, but after watching nail art tutorials online she noticed that they all had long nails and she became curious on how long hers could grow. Speaking to The Sun she said: “I guess you could say my addiction began that day, and I’ve been scared of nail clippers ever since.”
It’s no surprise that last year she took the crown for the most voted hand model at the 2016 Nails Long contest. But what we really want to know is what she’s been using to keep her talons from breaking, because we can’t even make it a month without one of our nails snapping off.
But what we really want to know is what she’s been using to keep her talons from breaking, because we can’t even make it a month without one of our nails snapping off. Apparently the secret to he strongest nails on plant earth (probably) is down to lots and lots of nail and cuticle oil, she also doubles up on her base coat before painting her nails, which she says usually takes hours. She also keeps them clean by using cotton buds everyday (slightly gross).
Simone has only broken her nail once, last summer, and she glued it back on. Since then she’s been extremely cautious when getting dressed so they don’t catch on her clothing.
She admits: “Cleaning my teeth and using the toilet aren’t a problem. Showering is a bit more difficult. Sometimes my nails get caught in my hair so I have to be extra careful.” Yikes, and we thought acrylics were stressful.
So does she plan on cutting them any time soon? Nope. She’s dedicated an entire Instagram account to her lengthy nails and says she never, ever wants to cut them and hopes to inspire other to grow theirs too. Hmm, we reckon we’ll pass.
