The couple open up about their woodland wedding
We have some lovely news about Hollyoaks‘ Carley Stenson and Danny Mac today… they’re married!
Danny, 29, opened up about his big day on Lorraine this morning, telling host Lorraine Kelly: ‘It was the perfect day.
‘It really could not have been better, it was fantastic weather and it was all outside. We had a really wonderful time, it could not have gone better.’

Despite the fact that Danny – who played Dodger in the Channel 4 soap – was runner-up on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, he and Carley chose not to perform an elaborate routine for their first dance.
He continued: ‘We didn’t have the time [to choreograph], we’ve both been so busy.
‘We literally took three days off to go and get married and then straight back into rehearsals. Choreographing a routine wasn’t really [possible].’

Danny Mac competed in Strictly last year
Danny and Carley, 35, got engaged last year after five years together. They met on the set of ‘Oaks, where Carley starred as Steph Cunningham for 11 years.
Carley gives us a glimpse of her stunning wedding dress on the cover of this week’s Hello!, inside which they open up about the woodland ceremony that took place in the New Forest.
Talking about the moment he saw his future wife walking down the aisle, Danny said: ‘Carley looked truly sensational and so happy.
‘It was such a lovely moment that I’ll never forget. I actually put my hand out to tell her to slow down as it was all going too quickly and I wanted to cherish it. Carley thought I waved and so she waved back.’
Carley added: ‘I felt so calm yet so excited. I just couldn’t stop smiling and giggling. It felt like our plan had come together perfectly and I was about to say “I do” to my best friend in front of everyone we loved. It was magical.’
