Why Love Island Viewers Were Confused By Kem Last Night

Fans of the show flooded Twitter to talk about something that the Essex lad did. And we think you'll have a giggle about it...

There was SO much drama on Love Island last night, as a cheeky sex-position game got everyone talking and the Chris-Olivia-Mike love triangle almost reached breaking point.

However, there was one moment between Kem and Mike that viewers seem to have been focused on.

Professional hairdresser Kem, who has been known to style the hair of Spencer Matthews and some of the TOWIE lads before entering the villa, decided to help Mike out with a new ‘do.

But fans seem to believe that he was using KITCHEN scissors…

Members of the public took to social media to share their disbelief.

‘Was Kem cutting mikes hair with kitchen scissors???🤔🤔 #loveisland,’ one confused viewer asked.

While another shared: ‘Ffs is kem using kitchen scissors to cut mikes hair. 🤣 blunt as f***!’ [sic].

Whereas one was left impressed by the Essex lad’s skills: ‘Kem cutting hair with kitchen scissors! That is talent my friend ’. 

But the hairdressing community did not seem convinced…

‘As a professional hairdresser and tutor…WER THEY KITCHEN SCISSORS!?! bloody hell Kem! #LoveIsland [sic]’.

Other shocked tweets included: ‘Am sure Kem has just cut muggy Mike’s hair with kitchen scissors ✂️ #LoveIsland’,  ‘How is kem cutting hair with kitchen scissors #loveisland’ and ‘Kem cutting Mikes hair with kitchen scissors #Loveisland’.

Although we have every confidence in Kem’s skills and he clearly knows his stuff, fans were probably just a little worried about Mike as the last thing he needed was a dodgy haircut. Still grafting to keep Olivia’s attention, last night saw her playing the field, sharing intimate moments with both him AND Chris.

Teasing Chris all day, Olivia stole a cheeky smooch with him on the landing before climbing into bed with Mike and locking lips with him, too.

Well, it seems as though the haircut was a hit… But Olivia still hasn’t made her mind up.
