For us TOWIE fans, the end of a series can be a rather problematic time.
Being left in the dark over the current Essex affairs, especially after investing so much time and energy into the show, is pretty darn tricky. Right? Right.

And so, with Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna’s split taking centre stage of the majority of the last series, we’re very relieved to have received a post-series update on the current status of their relationship….

Speaking of calling it quits on their relationship after a year together, 28-year-old Pete has shared that whilst he is currently on better terms with Megan, he would struggle to see her with another man.

Speaking at The Guide Dogs Annual Awards on Wednesday, Pete shared that, despite the rumours of a reunion, the pair are still ‘just friends’.
The Essex fella then added: ‘We’ve obviously had fallings out before but now we’re good… I’ll always care about her’, before continuing ‘I’m quite happy as I am and she is happy as she is’.
We don’t know about you, but after such a relationship rollercoaster, we’re very relieved to hear that the pair are on better terms.
However, whilst the pair have managed to establish a platonic relationship, the Essex lad then confessed that he would find it tricky to see Megs with another man.
Pete explains, ‘If I saw she was with another guy of course I’d mind’. He then added, ‘I would be a fool to say I wouldn’t care – of course it would bother me. It would kill me’.
Yup, straight to the feels with that one Mr Wicks.
Back in March, scenes of Pegan’s split aired on national TV via The Only Way Is Essex – the emotional moments saw both of the stars admit that they didn’t really see a future for the relationship.
We’re relieved to hear that Megan and Pete have managed to establish some better terms.
Now, can we have the show back ASAP please?!
