By now, everyone knows that Cheryl and Liam Payne have named their baby son Bear.
But how did they come up with the quirky (and super-cute) moniker? Well, Liam’s revealed all – and as it turns out, it was all down to Chezza.
According to The Sun, the 23-year-old spoke about fatherhood during an exclusive chat in the US, where he’s been promoting the upcoming release of his debut solo single.

He said: ‘I’m into more traditional names, the Mrs… she’s more into more unique, original names that people will remember.
‘It was her choice. I wasn’t going to fight her about it, she’s the one who’s done all the work, isn’t she?’
Aw. He’s a good’un.

Of course, it hasn’t been easy for Liam to be apart from his little boy while he flits between the US and UK with work.
But he and Cheryl, 33, are making it work. He continues: ‘We’re always Facetiming and the other day he smiled at me for the first time, it was so special.
‘I just want to spend every moment with him but she [Cheryl] is so great, she does everything on her own, she’s been amazing.’
Chiam became parents on 22 March, announcing the happy news a few days later with an adorable Instagram snap of Liam cradling his little boy.
On her page, Cheryl captioned the image: ‘On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream.
‘Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival.’
These two are just the cutest, aren’t they?
