Ferne McCann bravely opened up about the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy on ITV’s This Morning yesterday, and now her best friend Billie Faiers has taken to social media to praise her.
The mum-to-be has been having a bit of a tough time over the past few weeks, following the arrest of her then-boyfriend Arthur Collins. Pregnancy rumours then began to circulate, with the 26-year-old then issuing a statement to confirm that, yes, she is now expecting her first baby.

Ferne McCann has split from Arthur Collins
The former The Only Way Is Essex star then publicly distanced herself from the father of her child, saying: ‘Nor does she wish to discuss her ex-boyfriend who she does not recognise from the events of the last week….’
After yesterday’s televised chat with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, close friend and former co-star Billie Faiers took to Instagram to welcome her to the mummy club.
Billie shared a throwback photo from her own pregnancy, with BFF Ferne kneeling down to kiss her bump. Aww.
She captioned her friendship snap: ‘A little #throwback … I’m very proud of you for today @fernemccann … And so excited for you to join the mummy club 
… ‘
Billie continued, ‘I cannot wait to share this amazing journey with you … lots of wonderful times to come with our babies … love you lots 
#bestfriends’.
Her followers were quick to comment, with reactions including: ‘Ah that’s so sweet. You have good support around you @fernemccann xx’, ‘You did so well on This Morning @fernemccann and should be so proud of yourself for how well you’ve handled this whole situation….’ and ‘This is lovely, your going to be the best mum @fernemccann…’
Ferne still hasn’t returned to social media, but she has been reading messages and comments from fans.
During her appearance on This Morning yesterday, she revealed: ‘…the public have been so amazing and supportive. That’s what’s got me through. Reading through the private messages on Instagram has been so touching and humbling.
‘That is what I’m so grateful for, everyone’s words, from single mothers, single fathers, people who have followed my career to people who have never seen me on TV.’
