As if last week wasn’t dramatic enough for Ferne McCann, the weekend brought about some more shocking updates. And we’re really feeling for the former TOWIE star right now.
Last week it was revealed that her boyfriend, Arthur Collins, was being ‘hunted’ in connection with an acid attack that took place in an East London nightclub over the Bank Holiday weekend. And now, reports have confirmed that he’s been arrested.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: ‘Arthur Collins, 25, was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northants on Saturday night, 22 April by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime & Operations and Hackney Borough, with the assistance of armed officers from the East Midlands Operational Support Service (EMOpSS) and Northamptonshire Police.’

Rumours had been circulating that Ferne had ‘split’ from her boyfriend following the news of the attack. Now, in an unexpected twist, the reality TV star is said to be ‘pregnant’ with Collins’ baby – and, what’s more, she’s reported to have told him just days before the nightclub attack.
According to The Sun, the 26-year-old is expecting her first child. The publication also reports that close friends of the star claim she is horrified by the turn of events.
One friend is said to have told the newspaper: ‘We are all so worried about her.
‘Ferne is absolutely devastated by what has happened.
‘She cannot believe someone she loved is capable of doing what Arthur is accused of.’
They continued, ‘She is under an incredible amount of stress.
‘But Ferne will roll her sleeves up and make the best possible life for her and the child.’

Since the news broke, Ferne McCann has, understandably, kept quiet on social media. But sadly, the TV personality – who is also a presenter on ITV’s This Morning – has been targeted by a barrage of negative social media comments.
