With the first weekend of Coachella done and dusted, it could only mean one thing: Festival season is upon us.
Flower crowns have been the go-to when it comes to festival hair but we’ve spotted a new trend that may just overtake to be this season’s hottest hair trend – the corset braid.
Not only does it look super cool, it’s super easy to do. To jazz up your standard braids, all you need is ribbon or coloured string.
Start by creating two skinny plaits, then as if you were threading shoelaces, criss-cross the string between the two. A great tip is to tie each end of the string to a bobby-pin and push it through the plait with ease.
If that doesn’t do it for you, try adding some hair rings onto the string for an extra cool look.
