Social media had A LOT to say about Megan McKenna's street row with former boyfriend Pete Wicks...

We’ve seen the pictures and heard the rumours, but Wednesday night’s episode of The Only Way Is Essex finally aired THAT confrontation between Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks.
The former TOWIE power couple were photographed having what appeared to be an explosive row on a street a few weeks ago, following the news that they’d put an end to their romance. Reports even emerged claiming that the pair had been separated by show producers.

Talking about some photos of Pete getting ‘close’ to his best friend Chloe Sims not long after their split – something that both of them have insisted meant nothing – Megan told her former beau: ‘I was upset about some things she said after those pics happened, like I was an attention seeker. My best mates ain’t saying that about you.’
Pete then responded: ‘Amber [Turner] is saying I’m so petty.’
Oh dear.
Over the past few episodes, Megan has opened up to her closest friends about other people’s comments, explaining that she feels quite strongly that the rest of the cast are very much ‘Team Pete’.
Discussing this with him in last night’s show, she asked him why he hadn’t put a stop to it.
He snapped, ‘How do you want me to put a stop to it? I’m telling them I don’t want to talk about it, I don’t want to talk about you, I’m telling everyone not to slag you off, I don’t need it.
‘I said forget it she can do what she wants.’
Pete then branded their relationship a ‘f***ing mess’, before Megan jumped in to say, ‘Yeah thanks to you.’
The texting scandal also came up in the row, with Megan highlighting: ‘I don’t know why you’re giving me that look, I took you back.’
Pete hit back, ‘No you didn’t, you never forgave me, you never forgave me.
‘What happened was s*** Megan, I can’t take it back, I can’t, you never forgave me.’
Megan was not happy about his summary of the situation, raging: ‘I did, I tried to.’
It’s safe to say that social media had a lot of opinions on the scene, and many seemed upset with Megan. Reactions included: ‘How Megan McKenna goes from crying to normal in -0.0134 seconds is ridiculous’ and ‘Was so hard to watch you can see how
they are. Pete has tried to keep it civil, it’s not his fault that people are getting involved’.
Others, however, jumped to her defence, with one writing: ‘Why is everyone giving @Megan_Mckenna_ a hard time he was the D***** who messed around and stuff she is better with out him [sic]’.
Neither Pete or Megan, so far, seem to have reacted to the social media frenzy. But, according to The Sun, Pete was pictured wearing the very same hat as his former girlfriend on the day the row aired.
So, there’s that…
