Cara De La Hoyde And Nathan Massey Confirm Their Split

The Love Island couple have both Tweeted about their break-up...

Cara de La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have confirmed what we all feared… that they’ve split. WAAAH.

It was reported earlier this week that the couple had called it quits, just under a year after hooking up on (and winning) Love Island.

Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde first got together on Love Island

According to The Sun, the separation came after a string of ‘silly rows’.

A source said: ‘They’ve both mutually agreed to call it quits. It hasn’t been an easy decision but in the end they decided things would be better apart. They stayed really amicable and will definitely do all they can to be friendly.’

This came a month after it was claimed that Cara had moved out of her and Nathan’s home and was living with a friend.

Now Cara’s Tweeted: ‘Me & nath have split sometimes love just isn’t enough, but what will be will be ❤️ thankyou for everyone’s support lately [sic].’

Over on his page, Nathan wrote: ‘Me and Cara have split, we’ve had the best summer of our lives but it’s been a tough few weeks and wish her the best of luck for the future.’

While it’s obviously a difficult time for the pair, they’re being supported by their co-stars.

Olivia Buckland’s Tweeted: ‘Nothing changes my friendship with these two beautiful people @Miss_Delahoyde @NathanMassey_ love you both dearly ❤⭐.’

And Zara Holland tells OK!: ‘I’m so shocked, I’m really really shocked.

Zara Holland has spoken out about the break-up

‘I did [TV show] Release the Hounds with them back in September and I’ve seen them at a couple of events since. I really can’t believe it. I’m absolutely gutted for them, I really am.’
