It’s fair to say it’s been a pretty tumultuous few weeks for TOWIE‘s Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks.
Emotional scenes are currently airing on the ITV show, following the recent announcement of their break-up.

During Sunday night’s episode, we saw Megan speak to Pete’s good friend Chloe Sims over rumours that had begun circulating Essex, which alluded to Megan hanging out with her ex-boyfriend after the split.

She furiously denied this, and managed to speak face-to-face with Pete during yesterday’s programme in an attempt to quash any bad blood.
Megan approached her former beau after running into him at an event, telling him that she ‘didn’t want it be awkward, it’s weird being in the same place as you,’ to which Pete agreed that there was ‘no need for nastiness’.
When Pete told her she didn’t need to explain the rumours to him now they’re both single, she added: ‘I just wanted to say when I was with you I was 100% faithful.
‘It’s just a shame it never worked, because I felt like it could have. It’s hard standing here. I didn’t think we’d get to this point. It got weird and it was s***.’
While the pair seemed to have left things on fairly good terms at this point, things haven’t been so smooth sailing since then.
Photos recently emerged of Pete and Megan engaged in a heated argument in the street, which are understood to have been taken during filming.

We’re going to have to wait until next week’s TOWIE to find out what really went down, but it certainly seems very dramatic…
