After some nasty rumours started spreading around Essex, newly single Megan McKenna has hit back...
The drama has well and truly reached breaking point on The Only Way Is Essex, as viewers have been witnessing the fallout between Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks.
Although the pair announced their break-up a few weeks back, fans of the show (and the couple) have only just started to see the emotional scenes on the show.

Sunday night’s episode saw a tearful (and newly single) Megan McKenna being forced to deny rumours that she’d been getting close to her ex.
#LateNightDrive #EricThe reality star only split up with her boyfriend recently, following a pretty tough time. The pair, who’d always seemed pretty loved up, were hit by a nasty texting scandal last year, when Pete was caught out messaging other girls behind his lady’s back.
After trying to rebuild their relationship, both Megan and Pete seemed to agree that it wasn’t working.

Unfortunately, if the latest episode of TOWIE is anything to go by, things seem to be turning a little sour.
Megan was accused of being inappropriate with her ex, and Pete’s close friend Chloe Sims seemed to make it her mission to get to the bottom of the rumours.
Megan told her that, yes, she had been out partying, but that she’d done nothing wrong because she is a single lady.
She told Chloe: ‘The way I deal with things when I’m going through hard times is I go out and I get smashed, I’ve always been the same.
‘I went on a night out, basically, my ex was there. Apparently we were all over each other, like, alright we had a few drinks at the bar whatever.
‘I got in a cab, not just with him, with a group of boys and we went to an after party.’
The former Ex On The Beach star then added: ‘I’ve done nothing wrong, I’m completely single – I can do what I want.’
Sadly, some viewers weren’t impressed by the 24-year-old’s behaviour, with some labelling her ‘a hypocrite’.
But when one viewer tweeted that she ‘had no right’ to get angry at Pete for previously texting his ex, Megan hit back: ‘BECAUSE HE WASNT SINGLE! IM SINGLE AND CAN GO OUT AND ENJOY MYSELF! #ENOUGHSAID!’
We imagine that this has got to be very tough for the reality star.
